Selmer Mark VI Tenor #161720
This is an original lacquer Selmer Mark VI tenor. It has a resonant, vibrant sound, not too bright or dark, and a stable center, slightly more focused.
Approximately 65% of the lacquer is remaining. The lacquer wear is distributed quite evenly between the body, bell, bow and keys. This is truly a players horn. There are no major dents, except for a small ding here and there, and very little soldering. A few guard feet have been resoldered. Pads have a mix of plastic and metal resonators and are in good condition. The top stack, palm keys, and low Eb pads are kangaroo leather and have metal resonators. All the rest are standard leather with plastic resonators. Sax has original neck.
This is a great blowing Mark VI tenor in good condition. Sax comes in Rayburn Music leather gig bag.
