King Zephyr Special Tenor #242643
This is a relacquered King Zephyr Special tenor. It has a rich, robust, vibrant sound and a solid center, slightly more spread.
Lacquer is in very good condition with normal wear throughout. Most of the lacquer wear is visible on the keys. The body, bow, and bell show less wear. This was an excellent relacquer job. It appears to have been done at the King factory. There are no major dents, except for a ting ding here and there, and very little soldering. The side Bb post was resoldered. This sax was just repadded here at PM Woodwind with standard leather pads and metal resonators. Sax has original solid sterling silver neck. Sax also has full pearls, engraving on the lower keys, and double socket neck.
This is a fantastic blowing relacquered Zephyr Special tenor in excellent condition. Sax comes in standard rectangular case.
