King Zephyr Tenor #247939
This is an original lacquer King Zephyr tenor. It has a deep, rich, vibrant, meaty sound and a solid center, slightly more spread.
Lacquer is in very good condition with normal wear throughout. The lacquer wear is distributed quite evenly between the body, bow, bell, and keys. There are no major dents and very little soldering. One foot of the low Eb guard was slightly dented along with the thumb hook. Other than a few other minor dings here and there, the sax is in wonderful condition. The octave pip was resoldered. This sax was just repadded at another shop with standard leather pads and plastic resonators. Sax has original double socket neck.
This is a fantastic blowing Zephyr tenor in excellent condition. A great buy. Sax comes in Protec contoured case.
